The Cantt Public Education System is responsible for the education of children living in military families in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The system is administered by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), a society registered under the Societies Registration Act, of 1860. The Cantt Public Education System comprises 137 schools, including 124 Army Public Schools (APS) and 13 Army Goodwill Schools (AGS). These schools are located in different cantonments across the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The schools are affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad, and follow the National Curriculum of Pakistan. The medium of instruction in all these schools is English.
Qualification Required
- The candidates who want to apply for the post of English/Biology Math/Physics/Science/Islamiyat/Pak Study/Montessori PTI (Male/Female) Teachers must have a MA/MSc in any HEC from a recognized university and B.Ed 1st Division. They should also have 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized institute.
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview. The written test will be 100 marks and the interview will be 20 marks. The candidates who will qualify for the written test will be called for an interview. The date, time, and venue of the written test and interview will be announced later. The candidates are advised to bring their original documents at the time of the interview.

- These posts shall be non-transferable. The recruitment shall be on a contract basis and the selection shall be offered 03 years contract. The same will be further renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by the institution.
- The salary package for School teachers will be Rs. 35000/PM-7% annual increment.
- Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interviews.
